Principal’s Report:

- Scholastic Book Fair – est. gross $2415.06
- Box Tops for Education – anticipated - $428 Dec. ‘15
- New Art Teacher, Stacy Quinn, to be checked in with about Original Artworks fundraiser in Spring
- Pajama Night 11/19 – 5-6:30pm (Cookies and water from PTO)
- Veteran’s Day Assembly, 11/6 8:30am – students performing, teachers baking
Principal’s Report:
- Playground completion for 100th Celebration – successful event! Alumni and current students enjoyed.
- Book fair success
- Concerns that the UMASS Basketball trip may not be an option this year and would there be another trip that the school could take together?
- Box Tops submitted for Nov 2nd, $203.80
- Each classroom has a tub and should be collecting them in their rooms until the next collection date.
- Scholastic Dollars update – will most likely be used to purchase books needed for reading focused family events.
- Coupon Books are going home this week - $20 a book and students can sell multiple books.
- Dismantling of the private Facebook group with a focus on returning to community engagement through email.
- December Meeting Date – December 9th – can we do a Pizza and Project PTO meeting where parents are meeting for PTO and kids are doing a wintery art craft? Teacher led art project in Café and meeting in Library? Will this allow more families to be involved at some meetings?
